Rometa's washing treatment projects pressurized water on the wet piece before curing, removing the surface laitance and exposing the aggregates to achieve a high-quality washed finish. This process is essential for producing premium decorative pavers and paving slabs.
Washing is a surface-finishing process applied to wet pieces before curing, producing a natural stone effect similar to that obtained with shot blasting.
The process involves blasting water against the piece. A set of in-line and parallel sprayers moves with an automatically adjustable translation speed and a zig-zag motion with water flow control; all parameters can be adjusted from the control equipment.
